MEng (Hons) CEng CITP MIET MBCS MEWI MAE FRSA

I am a Managing Director at Kroll, where I serve as Global Lead for Technology Expert Services within the Cyber and Data Resilience practice. I am a Chartered Engineer and Chartered IT Professional specialising in the intersection of law and technology, translating complex technical issues into clear, defensible evidence for courts, tribunals, and arbitration panels worldwide.

My expert witness practice covers technology and IT disputes, intellectual property, data privacy, AI and machine learning, blockchain and digital assets, and forensic software analysis. I have been instructed by leading law firms, including magic circle firms and major US practices, and have testified in UK courts and international arbitration proceedings. I have given oral evidence and been cross-examined across a range of technology dispute matters.

Before my current role, I founded and led multiple technology businesses. I have served as CTO for several ventures across SaaS and digital platforms. Earlier in my career, I was a consultant at Deloitte in the data team of the Enterprise Risk Services division. This hands-on experience in building, shipping, and scaling software products, combined with a background in enterprise risk, informs my expert analysis. I understand not just the theory of how systems should work, but the practical realities of how they are built and operated.

I hold a Master of Engineering (Honours) in Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick and a Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate, covering Excellence in Report Writing, Cross-Examination and Courtroom Skills, and Law and Procedure (Civil). I am a Chartered Engineer (CEng) registered with the Engineering Council, a Chartered IT Professional (CITP), and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the British Computer Society, the Expert Witness Institute, the Academy of Experts, and the Society for Computers and Law. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Outside expert witness work, I have contributed to international justice as a pro-bono trainer for prosecutors at the International Criminal Court, delivering training on digital evidence and deepfakes.
